ABOUT ME
Saroja Manickam is a third-year student filmmaker and screenwriter at the University of Colorado Denver, where she is a candidate for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television Production with a Certificate in Proposal and Grant Writing. Through her academic career, Saroja has directed, written, edited, produced, and worked on set for various student projects.
Her work uses comedy, intimacy, and empathy to explore themes of womanhood and complex interpersonal dynamics. Her films have been featured in multiple festivals, including the Anchorage International Film Festival, and she continues to develop narrative projects focused on intimate storytelling. Saroja hopes to dedicate herself to any opportunity to learn more about the medium of film and the industry that produces it.
